Yieldly ("Yieldly", the "app") is operated by Googly, LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Yieldly, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies specifically to the Yieldly applications for iOS, Android, and macOS, and to this website.

Googly, LLC operates multiple applications. This Privacy Policy applies only to Yieldly; other Googly apps may have separate policies.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Email address — used for passwordless sign-in via one-time passcode (OTP) and to identify your account.
• Portfolio and watchlist data — when you sign in, the holdings, transactions, watchlists, and related notes or settings you create are stored in the cloud so they sync across your devices. If you use the app as a guest, this data is stored only on your device and is not sent to us.
• Brokerage connection data — if you choose to connect a brokerage account, we receive read-only account, position, and related connection status data from our brokerage data provider so we can sync holdings into your portfolio. We do not receive your brokerage password, and Yieldly does not place trades.
• AI Overview data — AI Overview is an optional, user-initiated Yieldly Pro feature. A stock overview sends information about the selected security from Yieldly's dividend records and relevant public SEC filing context. A portfolio overview sends OpenAI a limited, portfolio-derived dividend forecast that can include holding ticker symbols, modeled income amounts and timing, income-contribution percentages, historical payment-schedule matches, and data-coverage notes. It does not include your name, email address, portfolio name, notes, purchase history, account identifiers, or brokerage credentials.
• Feedback and support messages — if you contact us or submit feedback in the app, we receive the content of your message and your email address.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and analytics data — we use analytics to understand how the app is used (for example, screens viewed and features used), which helps us improve Yieldly.
• Diagnostics and crash data — we collect crash reports and performance data to find and fix problems.
• Device and technical information — such as device model, operating system version, app version, and similar technical identifiers associated with analytics and notifications.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable dividend alerts, we store a device push token so we can deliver notifications.
• Subscription and purchase data — if you purchase Yieldly Pro, we and our subscription provider receive purchase status and identifiers needed to manage your subscription. Payment card details are handled by the App Store or Google Play and are never collected by us.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and secure the app and your account
• Authenticate sign-in and sync your portfolios and watchlists across devices
• Sync read-only brokerage holdings when you connect a brokerage account
• Generate an AI Overview when you expressly request one
• Send dividend alerts and other notifications you opt into
• Process and manage Yieldly Pro subscriptions
• Analyze usage and diagnose issues to improve the product
• Respond to your feedback and support requests
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

AI Overview

Yieldly uses OpenAI as a service provider to generate the text in AI Overview. No AI request is made merely because you open a stock or portfolio. A request is sent only when you tap Generate overview or Refresh overview. Requests are made through OpenAI's API with model-response storage disabled.

Stock overviews are based on security-level information rather than your personal portfolio. Portfolio overviews use the limited portfolio-derived information described above. Yieldly calculates the displayed numerical facts and retrieves source evidence before requesting explanatory text; the AI is not permitted to place trades, access brokerage accounts, or select holdings for you. AI-generated text may be incomplete or inaccurate and is provided for informational and research purposes only, not as investment, financial, tax, or trading advice.

Service providers

We use trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate Yieldly. They process data only as needed to deliver the app — for example, hosting your account, sending sign-in codes, delivering notifications, managing subscriptions, supplying market data, generating requested AI Overview text through OpenAI, and providing read-only brokerage connectivity through SnapTrade. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention

We retain your account information and synced data for as long as your account is active. Generated portfolio overviews may be cached with your portfolio so you can view them again without making another AI request; they are removed when the associated portfolio or account is deleted. Generated stock overviews may be cached as shared, security-level reports that are not associated with the user who requested them. Limited, anonymized AI usage and cost records may be retained for security, abuse prevention, and service-budget controls. Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to our providers' standard retention periods. When you delete your account, your associated data is removed as described below.

Your choices and rights

• Access and update — you can view and edit your portfolios and watchlists directly in the app.
• Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Delete Account. If you no longer have the app, use our account deletion request page. This action is irreversible. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it separately through your app store before deleting.
• Notifications — you can turn dividend alerts on or off in Settings or in your device's notification settings.
• Guest mode — use the app without an account to keep your portfolio and watchlist data on-device only.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). To make a request, contact us at support@googlyglobal.com.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Yieldly is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

International users

Yieldly is operated from the United States. If you access the app from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Yieldly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
